So what is JROTC? Junior ROTC is designed to teach high school students the value of citizenship, leadership, service to the community, personal responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment, while instilling in them self-esteem, teamwork, and self-discipline. Last school year our cadets volunteered over 4,000 support hours to the school and local community. In addition, these hours help our students earn college scholarships.
The program prepares high school students for responsible leadership roles while making them aware of their rights, responsibilities, and privileges as American citizens. JROTC is a stimulus for promoting graduation from high school, and it provides instruction and rewarding opportunities that will benefit the student, community, and nation. Simply stated, the program prepares our cadets for life after High School.

WASHINGTON D.C. - 2011
Congratulations to LTC Garrah for being selected as one of the 2012 Men of Distinction
Congratulations to Scott Vantine who recently became the second Titan JROTC graduate to be commissioned as a military officer. Scott graduated from our JROTC program in 2007 after serving as a Company Commander. He earned a $140,000 U.S. Army ROTC Scholarship to Florida Southern College and spent four--often very challenging--years there preparing for his role as an Army officer. He is now an Army Lieutenant and we are so very proud of him. LTC Garrah was honored to swear Scott in as part of the ceremony . Charlie and Dina Creamer, Scott's Parents, have been a part of our booster club for years. Meanwhile, we already have former cadets serving our country in a variety of enlisted positions in the Navy, Army, Air Force and Marines. We are proud of all of them! HOOAH!

This is the first time we have taken a JROTC trip to Tallahassee and it was wonderful. We met with the Governor, Lt. Governor, State Senators and Representatives. We also visited the Florida Army National Guard, Florida State University, Mission San Luis, Florida History Museum and other locations. A Big thank you to Kim Burns for being our chaperone. Also to Senator Garrett Richter for supporting this visit and of course Becky Kokkinos for lining up our meetings at the State Capitol. Dr. Patton our school superintendent for visiting with us as well. What a super trip!!! Click here for pictures!!! Thank you to our sponsors such as the North Naples Rotary Club, John and Bunny Brooks, Suncoast for Kids Foundation, Education Foundation and Ed and Linda Morton. We could not do this without your help.
